We've all been there.

You're standing in a room full of people, but you feel completely invisible.  The television is blaring, three people are talking at once, and your phone is buzzing in your pocket like a hornet.  It's the "Noise" ~and if you stay in it too long, it starts to feel like your own voice doesn't matter.

I spent years trying to shout over the noise.  I thought if I just worked harder, talked louder, or "got 'er done" faster, I'd find my way out.  But you can't outrun static.

The Turning Point

The "Rest of the Story" isn't about finding a quieter room; it's about finding a different Frequency.

When I stopped fighting the noise and started looking for the Light, I found that God wasn't shouting to get attention.  He was waiting in the "Stillness."

The Stronghold in the Static

The Bible tells us that God wasn't in the great wind, the earthquake, or the fire. He was in the "still small voice."

1 Kings 19:12  That is the foundation of the Safe Harbor.

To get out of the noise, you have to:

Be still: Stop trying to fix the static yourself.

Know: Anchor yourself in the truth that He is God,

Psalm 46:10

Listen:  The "Lovely" life isn't found in the headlines; it's found in the quiet moments on the porch with Him.

The Leah Legacy

If you feel lost in the noise today, know this:  You aren't invisible to Him.  He sees you through the static.  He's already pulled out a chair for you here at the Safe Harbor.  You don't have to shout anymore.  You have to be still.
